Hi, I'm having trouble unlocking my iPod Nano 1st gen the switch on the top is in the unlocked position but it still has the little lock sign on the screen and I can't do anything could some one help me.

Weird. Does it change if you plug it into a machine and sync up? If that doesn't help, try restoring the firmware through iTunes. You'll lose everything on the iPod, but this might help if it's not a hardware issue. 🙂

Okay, so have you tried restoring it? Remember to back everything up from the iPod if necessary. 🙂

Seems like the hold switch connector is not working so well, probalbly need to get it replaced.
