Can't update App store softwares

Hi all,

I run macOS Sierra and every time I try to update my software on the App store, I get redirected to agreeing with the Terms and Conditions.

It's like an infinite loop, and I don't know how to update my software at this point.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Launch the App Store. From the Menu bar select Store>Sign Out.
When I launch the App Store, all I see on the right is

Welcome XXX
Account
Redeem
Support

I tried accessing the account but it doesn't let me log out.

I do not see the selections you have listed. Here is what is what I see (note I'm using El Capitan for the pic, but I think it is the same):

OK, I got it to sign out and in again but I still see the same message:

You must read and accept the new terms and conditions.

Still won't let me update.
