I can't update java on my Mac.
Every time a new update comes out, I try to install it and it just says "update failed".
When I try to manually download it from the Java website, the download gets stuck at 60.4MB/60.5MB.
I've tried with different browsers, no luck.
I believe the latest build is Java 8 Update 50 - I have Java 7 Update 55.
What can I do?

Can you download the update completely on a different computer?

Yes - on my PC, it worked when I downloaded it from the Java website (but strangely didn't when I got the Java Auto Update Installer prompt)
