I have been experiencing some issues with updates to my Macbook Pro. I am currently running version 10.6.8.

Every time I go to the "Software Update" tab, it tells me that I have a bunch of different updates available. I click on the "Install and Restart" tab. Then the "License Agreement" tab comes up, which I click on Agree. Then I click on the "Install Update" tab, then it prompts me to Restart in order to finish the installation. When I click on it, it simply restarts and none of the updates have been applied. I am getting furious with this update nonsense.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Maybe something is wrong with your OS. I recommend purchasing the Mountain lion and doing a fresh install.
