Hi everyone,

I've been using Chrome for mac pretty much since chrome was out but I have recently changed to safari as it feels lighter. I am having a serious issue though with youtube!

Before youtube and google plus fusion came along I used to have a normal account with a username. When I had to combine my channel with my google plus account I did it but I kept the channel with my old username but there is also the channel with my real name where I can change between channels.

My problem is that when using safari I can't see the notifications (the bell icon on the top right corner) and it asks me to sign in to google plus (see attachment) in order to view them when I am already signed in! I am also not able to like comments (I can only like an actual video) or comment on a video. When I try to like a comment or click to type a comment a pop up appears and disappears really fast!

I am using the latest version of Safari 8.0.4 (this was happening to the previous versions as well) and the latest version of Yosemite.

These problems don't appear on chrome browser.

Any ideas how to figure out what causes the issue?
Thanks in advance!

Some more info

I have actually noticed that if I log out of my account and I try to log in again I am getting an error page (see attachment). If I reload the youtube page from that error screen it appears that I am logged in.

I have cleared my cache but issue persists.
Only plugins I am using are Adblock, Adblock plus and Gmail Counter. I have tried to deactivate all 3 but still no success.
I have also done a clean install of Yosemite and I am still having the same problem!!!

It is driving me crazy and I can't figure out how to solve this!
If anyone can give me an advise I would really appreciate it.
Thanks again.

I figured it out!

Ok the solution was a bit stupid but I managed to figure it out :p

I actually had to set Cookies and website data to "Allow from websites I visit" under Privacy settings. I had it set to "Allow from current website only".

I feel a bit stupid but oh well... :D
