Can't view pictures in iMessage

Hello All,

When someone sends me a pic I am unable to view it in iMessage. I can see it in the message but when I try to view it all I get is a black loading screen. Any idea what the issue is? iPhone 5 iOS 6.0.2

Try turning off iMessage then back n if that's does work . Turn phone off if that does work . Call customer service

Turning the phone off then on solved the problem. Thanks for the tip!
