I think the OP is getting "traffic" and "bandwidth" confused. I easily believe Black Friday has the highest traffic when measured in pageviews, which is important to things like firewalls and webapp infrastructure, but not bandwidth. Video is just bandwidth, it's the server parceling out parts of a file with minimal processing.

No the highest traffic is Cyber Monday! This when all the office workers go online for Christmas gifts Because guys hate going to store to shop!
