Cant watch any movies

Hey, Every time i put in a DVD into the macpro, it wont let me play it because the files are unknown. Anyone know how to watch DVD's on ur mac

Is this a regular commercial DVD we're talking about? I'm assuming you've tried the standard DVD Player... maybe give something like VLC a shot, and see if that loads it?

Vlc works great. The DVD player program was all in chinese and did not play audio. the audio files wouldnt even show up if u click on the DVD icon on the desktop. Thanks

Is it possible that you are trying to play the DVD outside its prescribed region?
