Can't write sc... into Safari address field - crazy ?

I want to write sc.. (score, sconto etc.) into Safari address line and as soon as I write sc, my writing disappears (and again and again). This is beyond mad ?? Anything else can be written.

I tried on mine and do not encounter the problem. Is it possible that something in your auto correct or substitution list is causing this? Just a guess.

It's happening to me too. Quite suddenly, I must say. It doesn't happen on other browsers.

I just started having the exact same problem! It doesn't happen in Brave, and it doesn't seem to be happening here in this text box, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's causing the problem.

Did anyone find a fix?

I just started having this problem, except it happens when I type ce. Any new info on this problem?

Now I can't write even "video". I type "vi" and the address field switches to blank. Totally crazy.
