Hi,

I'm using a Voyager Q Hard Drive "Toaster" on my Retina Mac Book pro. It seems I can read hard drives fine but I can't write to them. Some of these hard drives are native Mac Hard Drives. For example one came out of my Mac Pro. So it's not like it's NTFS. The format is Mac OS Extended (Journaled).

When I try to write or delete a file I get: An unexpected error occurred (error code -50).

In get info for the drivers I see "Ignore Ownership" and it's checked but greyed out. so I can't change that.

Any ideas on how I can write to these disks?

Thanks!

Well, here's the official definition of Error -50:
-50, /*error in user parameter list*/
It's from the same code that Mac OS uses to get the error codes. The only question is what it means...

EDIT: You could try writing to the disks from another user.
