Cant't jailbreak my iphone 4: 4.0.1 , tried over 100 times

Is anyone else having this problem on any of the Jailbreakme sites?

I initially got it to work earlier yesterday, then restored before a mms and facetime solution was developed, big mistake, I know.

I'e tried over 100 times in the past two days with absolutely nothing, just snow leopard blank screen. Any suggestions? thanks.

p.s. I hope this isn't a duplicate post, I'm a newbie.

you have to go to the site on your iphone not mac.

Yup, definitely been doing so. Again, I successfully did it yesterday, just blank screen-jones since then.

jailbreakme.com is working fine here. Do this. Go to settings, safari settings and clear cookies, cache etc. Then reboot the phone. Try jailbreakme.com again

Jeez it was so simple. Thanks guys for helping out the not as-advanced as yourselves. Now let's just hope this mms stuff works .

having the same issue on an iPhone4 running 4.0.1... have tried clearing history, cache and cookies... any other suggestions?

It didn't work at first when I did it. Then I rebooted, re-cleared, tried it again and it worked perfectly.

I'm assuming because the purply screen resembled a Snow Leopard background or something? I dunno; I don't have Macs, but that'd be my guess.

because that purple screen was the background that jailbreakme was using for the background on their website, see attachment

I'm on 3GS 32G IOS4.01. Just did restore and tried again, worked. Like all, I've been unsuccessful 7 hours ago. Believe firmly it's the load on server, be patient and enjoy.
