Does anyone know where I can purchase, or even if it exists, a capacitive eraser cap for the Apple Pencil 2? I’ve found dozens of caps for original pencil but nothing for pencil 2. I want to use it for my iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen and iPhone 11 Max Pro. I generally have both of them side by side and would like to have functionality of cap to use on my phone as well as iPad. This is being a bit lazy but I prefer to tap on phone screen with a cap rather than use my grubby finger.

Found this on Amazon:

Googled this in safari:
capacitive cap for Apple Pencil
capacitive cap for apple pencil site:www.amazon.com

I found this (first link). It is designed for the 1st Gen pencil but with a little engineering perhaps you could drill or hollow out the inside to fit the generation 2 pencil

I do have one or two of those in a box of old electronic stuff I've collected over the years. If I can find them I'll give that a try. Thanks

I finally found those caps amongst my lost treasures in the garage. Unfortunately they have the same outside circumference and a smaller inside diameter so will not fir over the end of the Pencil2. A shame really because that’s exactly what I’m looking for. Hollowing out the inside will not work. Not enough cap to work with.

I just got a new iPad and Apple Pencil 2. And I too cannot seem to find capacitive eraser caps for it. I found a workaround so far to keep my fingerprints off the iPad and still swipe up to go home or to the app switcher. I set up a virtual home button and virtual app switcher button which I’m able to use the Apple Pencil 2 with. https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-get-home-button-on-screen-iphone
