Capacity 'other' increased

Hi!

I am really having a problem finding a solution to this.
Suddenly the other capacity on my phone has gone upto 6gb(orange bar)

I've tried everything but it won't work. I am using jailbreak 1.1.4.

I don't want to do a restore.


Also whats the best way to save you sms messages from phone to mac?


can someone please let me know if there is a solution without restoring cuz i can't get it jailbroken where i am currenly.

If you have the capacity to restore, you have the capacity to jailbreak. None of this "can't" nonsense.

Update to 2.1 and jailbreak again.

but a) i will loose all the data
b) i got mine unlocked in UK and now i'm working in Middleeast and i dont know anyone here who can jailbreak it.
