*First world problem alert*
I’m curious if it’s common amongst others to match device capacities. I generally upgrade my iPhone, iPad or MacBook with a 512GB variant. However, I’m in the process of replacing all of my devices and am considering 256GB for my phone (in return period). I usually hover around 300-320GB with a good chunk of tv series and movies on it. If I cut it down to just my favorites I can have about 30-50GB available on a 256 (deleted stuff to see where the # would be).
$899 for the new 256GB MacBook Air (military discount) is also calling my name. Although, I’m likely to just pay for the 512–double capacity and quad-core. The reason I’m considering all of this is because I intend to have all my devices updated and then not swap anything out again for 2/3 years. I’ve sold everything recently and bought an 11 Pro 512GB. I’m debating if I’m better off staying with 512GB everything and paying a little extra or downsizing and saving a buck. I’m considering:
512, 512, 512 (50%)
256, 512, 512 (10%)
256, 256, 512 (40%)
