Capitalization Question

I'm wondering if there's a way for the first word of a sentence to automatically be capitalized. I've been able to set up rules for specific words (i.e. change "i'd" to "I'd"), but I can't seem to find a setting telling my Mac to automatically capitalize the first word of any sentence I type.

I don't think that could be a global thing. It will depend on the application, I believe.

I saw a program a while back that could do this system wide - you can set it so that when you type MR, for example, it automatically types MacRumors.

Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the program.

It's at least implied. My response was based on picking that up.
