caps lock key doesnt always register

this is pretty annoying, but would it be a manufacturer defect? i have to forcefully press the button in order for it to register. anything i can do?

It's a feature; keyboards have this in them so you don't accidentally click the caps lock key while you're typing.

I can quickly tap my caps lock key over and over again very quickly, but it will never register. If I press it a little slower, it will register every time.

well, if I press it abit lightly on the right side, it doesn't register either. But everywhere else seems fine, you just need a bit of a stronger force near the middle.
