Capture streaming video

When using Firefox there was an extension which enabled me to capture streaming video, such as youtube. Is there an equivalent for Safari?

Lookup Tubesock. I think that you have to pay some nominal fee to get its full functionallity though.
 
Or PodTube which is free. A bit inconsistant though. Some days it works and some days it doesn't. Other than yourtube, you would need a video screen capture program such as SnapzPro.
