Capturing part of the screen

Is the an app available to capture just part of the screen or do I have to do a full screen capture and then use a second app to crop the image?

To make a partly screenshot hit Command-Option-4 and select the area to capture, if you hit the spaceBar after those commands you then can select a window to capture, click on Window and it makes a screenshot of the selected window.

You can crop the image in the 'photos' app. You don't need an additional app to edit/crop the image.
