Car charger adpater for iPhone 5s

I'm sure there is a thread on this somewhere, but I can't find it.

I have an AT&T charger for my iPhone 4 with the cable permanently attached to the charger. This one: http://www.amazon.com/AT-Charger-Port-Apple-iPhone/dp/B003U4K58K/

Can I get a 30-pin to lightning adapter for this or it an entirely new charger necessary?

Apple sells an adaptor here for $30 .

For less than that you can just get a new charger altogether like this for $18.
