Carbon Copy Cloner 6 won't work on remote mac (local network)

Hello,

CCC works fin on my mac using external drives to back-up, but despite having used it for years to back-up my wife's macbook on my Mac Studio, it's not working today.

CCC sees my wife's macbook when I search for remote macs, her laptop is set for remote login for all users and the firewall is off.

But as soon as I hit Start, CCC tells me that it can't connect to the laptop and tells me to check the firewall.

Any ideas?

Edit: I got my developers confused. Carbon Copy Cloner is from Bombich Software. Agilebits makes 1Password.

I read the document and I believe that the problem lies with the authentification on the laptop. Trouble is, when I hit the "Deauthenticate" button, I get and error message "An internal error occured when trying to authenticate."

But her computer was authenticated long ago.

Is there a way to manually remove the authentification key?
