So I have connect my new External HD to my Airport Extreme and when i want to start my back up this comes up.

What kind of backup do you want? A bootable? If so, why not connect the HDD to your Mac directly?

Time Capsule + External Hard Drive + CCC?
Backing up to/from network volumes and other non-HFS volumes

I want to leave it connected to my Airport Extreme because its a pain for me to plug it in every time. So how should I have CCC set up as? TY
