I have an external drive with my movies, photos, music, etc, I'll call drive A. Drive B is a straight backup of drive A. If I choose this setting on CCC:

Maintain a backup (Archive modified and deleted items)

does this mean that if I delete a bunch of things from and add a bunch to drive A, that they'll also be deleted and added to drive B? Before using this program, I would just wipe drive B every couple months and select all/drag from drive A to B.

• Files and folders on "destination" that are not present on "source" will be archived.

• Previously backed up files on "destination" will be updated only if the size or modification date differs.

• Older versions of updated files will be archived.

• CCC will not prune archive content.

So if u delete bunch of files from source then run CCC it will archive those items
