Carbon Copy Cloner

Does anyone know if carbon copy cloner can clone any type of file system? I have a bunch of shows on my external Dish Network USB HD and I want to clone them over to a larger hard drive. Can CCC do this for me?

If OS X can read the disk, so can CCC. How is the drive formatted?

Actually, if OS X can read the disk, you can just drag from the old disk to the new one without CCC.

It isn't readable by OS X. It has some proprietary drive format.
