They authorize your CC for the full amount, you don't get charged until the item ships.

It can take some time to get the confirmation, you can call apple or check your Apple Store account to see where the order is.

My e-mail came about 1 1/2 hours after I placed the order today. My dedit card was charged in full directly after placing the order however like you. Sounds like you made it!

There is no order in my apple store account and there support hotline in my country is not open yet.
