card reader issues

i have a GE ho97949 multi-use card reader

i just got some new 4gig sandisk sdhc cards and they wont mount. i have been searching around a while for options and it looks like i might need updated firmware for the card reader. i cant figure this out. any advice?

Spec for this says SD is OK but no mention of the high capacity SD cards. Your 4gig is a HC SD card, anything over 2gig is HC I believe.

i went ahead and solved my issue with a new card reader.... ten bucks, no headaches... lovely

From the one product review on Amazon it is not HDSC capable, from checking some sights they do not specifically referfence SDHC capable, just SD.


Sounds like the new reader was the right idea.
