i work for caribou and we just got a memo that we're partnering with apple to give away a bunch of music and a few iPods. the contest runs from march 1st to april 1st or 2nd and the prize breakdown is as follows:
• 1 winner of 1,000 iTunes music downloads or $1,000 on a Caribou Card
• 3 winners of 500 iTunes music downloads or $500 on a Caribou Card
• 10 winners of 250 iTunes music downloads
• 21 winners of 200 iTunes music downloads
• 53 winners of 100 iTunes music downloads
• 110 winners of 50 iTunes music downloads
• 1,500 winners of 20 iTunes music downloads
• 5,000 winners of 10 iTunes music downloads
• 20 winners of 30 GB iPods
• 40 winners of Caribou Coffee for a year
• 75 winners of a three-month tour of Caribou Coffee
• 25,000 winners of a Free Drink at Caribou Coffee

don't know how many of you actually go to caribou or have one near you, but there is no purchase necessary. you can get one free code per day online at www.cariboucoffee.com/win when the contest actually starts (according to the memo).

Nice.

I'm a huge fan of Caribou, even though they changed their cooler formula. I try to go one a week at least. There're quite a few in the DC region.

Do you work in the coffeehouse, or for Caribou corporate?

Had some Caribou Coffee when I was in Chicago last week. Good and tasty stuff. Can't remember where I put my little iTunes/caribou thingy I got with my purchase.

I have tried about 30 times and never won. Then today I had nothing to do in class for a couple minutes so I went on the site, I only had time to try twice and i won both times. 10 free tunes and 1 free coffee. So I guess it's all about timing.
 
This game is BS. Three times i've had the bean heading towards the cup, only for it to hit some invisible peg and bounce off.
 
I'm glad to hear ANYONE has won, but this game is really ticking me off. :mad:

I've been playing over a week and have come close nearly every time only to see that stupid bean change directions and miss.

Won $20 on itune

I played for the first time and won $20 itunes gift certificate - so cool - i will be logging in everyday now...
 
Maybe I was just so used to winning more than half the time on Pepsi's past iTMS promos that it eeks me out to no end that I'm 0/9...

Maybe their system knows I don't have one of their coffee shops anywhere near me...?

Well - there is no Caribou coffee round here - but I still did win - but I am 0 for 10 after that initial win...
 
I hate this sort of contest. I have to give all sorts of personal information just to see if I won a free song. Not worth it to me. But since I got a code, I thought I'd just share it here for anyone who's less stingy with personal information:

cool, i'll keep trying. it sucks you can only play once per day...

i need an ipod. lol, it's funny that all your friends who know nothing about computers have ipods and yet you're a technology MAJOR and still don't have one.

I've played at least 20ish times now and not once did I ever see that stupid bean come close. This morning I watched it slowly slide along an invisible horizontal line until it cleared any area close to falling in the cup. This seems more like one of those un-winnable (is that even a word?) carnival games, except some of you are actually winning something... Yes, this is me being jealous... :mad: :p
