For those who have pre ordered through Carphone Warehouse, does your order say it'll be in stock on the 15th?

Mine says

Your order contains an item which is out of stock. We will deal with your order as soon as possible.. Your order should have arrived on Fri, 12 Jun 2009.

I don't think there online system is geared up too well for pre-orders so thats probably why that statuses are like that.

the pre-order system is a bit of a hack. Because phones are usually sent next day delivery, the system simply calculates that date. it can't tell the difference between the iPhone and any other phone
