Carplay and iOS 18 Messages

Ever since updating to iOS 18 I am no longer receiving notifications about any new messages.

Before, it would show when a message came in, now nothing.

Has anyone had similar issues?

Yes same here the notification only appears if your in the CarPlay screen, before it appeared in any screen.
