CarPlay CarPlay/Apple Music Handoff Problem

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 16 and have been having an issue with CarPlay and Apple Music. Specifically, even though I have the handoff feature disabled when I get out of the car after having been playing Apple Music through CarPlay it will switch over to phone. I have disabled the handoff feature, and the funny thing is that it is only Apple Music that does this (i.e any other music/audio apps stop when I turn the car off).

Apart from Handoff I can't see any other setting/feature that is causing the issue. What am I missing?
