CarPlay - audio bug

So Im bumping into this:

Listening to Pandora connected to CarPlay. Turn car off, sound stops, walk into a store unlock the phone and music plays even if I pause it and all apps off. Until I hit the volume button.

Replicated each time.

Does this happen regardless of if Pandora was on the car display when you turned it off? In my experience more than a few iOS music applications have that bug. Goes away if you return to the home screen before turning off the car.
