I installed the iLX-107 and Alpine KTP-445A in my '04 Ram 1500 a few days ago. I know it's a new system so there isn't a lot of info out there on it yet.

I've noticed whenever I launch the Map app on the stereo it pulls up the map with the directions to the next event on my Calendar. So if I launch it at 1:45 pm it'll see if I want driving directions to my 3:00 pm appointment. Or if I get in my truck in the morning it automatically puts up a message asking if I want directions to my work even though that isn't even on my calendar. I can open the event in the Map app and then select cancel but I'd like it to not come up automatically every time I launch my Map app.

I've search all the settings in the stereo and my iPhone (iOS 10.3.2) but can't find how to disable this.

Any thoughts?

You can disable Frequent Locations and it shouldn't pre-select those destinations based on your frequent activity. Or you can touch that banner for options and tell it to cancel.

Apparently this issue has come back after the iOS 12 update.

Any suggestions on how to disable this annoying feature?

No help here so figured it out myself. For those looking to do the same thing go here...

Settings -> Notifications -> Calendar -> Each item needs selecting -> Disable "Show in CarPlay"
