Hey Guys, I have a Nissan Qashqai 2023 and the Carplay just doesn't work for me. After I forgot all the connections on my car panel and redo the connection process through the USB-c cable the car recognizes and add 2 devices to its list: my iPhone (with the icons of text, calls, music, etc but without the CarPlay icon) and a generic "iPhone" device with solely the CarPlay icon.
No matter how I try to connect to this generic iPhone with CarPlay icon on my car panel, it just does not connect. It's like a ghost that shouldn't be there.
I waited to the iOS 26.2 to update the phone and check if it fixes but no luck.. I'm in Europe, so EU regulations, but I believe it does not matter since my wife has an iPhone 15 and the CarPlay works flawlessly on the car, just plug and it automatic starts.
Anyone on the same situation? Any known fixes?
