So this is a first for me, I checked my early hardware upgrade fee this afternoon and instead of the 400$ I was expecting it's showing a 33$ fee, I even called to confirm and it's correct.

I got the iPhone 5 last year and there is 2 years left on my contract so this is definitely a mistake on their part.

Usually when they mess up it's not in my favor so pretty psyched about i but starting to get a little afraid that if I allow myself to get too excited the universe will notice it's mistake and rectify it lol

The best part is that since contracts are now 2 years upgrading is actually cheaper then not upgrading, selling my 5 and buying the 5S will net me 100$ and the higher resale value should save me at least 100$ when I end up selling the 5S.

Not sure what I did to deserve this but I will gladly take it :)

I don't get it, what's the $ you have to upgrade? $33 or $400?

Sorry should of specified, I am referring to the early hardware upgrade fee, the penalty I have to pay to upgrade earlier then agreed.

It should be about 400$ since I have had the phone 11 months of a 36 month contract but for whatever reason it's only 33$

and which carrier?

Rogers

They make mistakes all the time on my bill but usually it's not in my favor.

Ahh well, that makes much more sense.
