Ok i have updated my carrier file to 5.0 and currently have MMS working on my phone. So if i got to apple and try to get my phone swapped for whatever reason and they see that i have MMS enabled, would that void my warranty?

I wouldn't think so if you didn't jailbreak but why wouldnt you just remove the profile if you needed to go there?

How do you do it? Im using windows btw.
Does restoring it to factory settings take away the carrier file too?

If you can restore it to factory settings and you're still having issues it shouldn't be a problem. If you restore it to factory settings and your issues go away, no need to swap it. If you restore it to factory settings and it bricks, technically that voids the warranty.
