Carrier name changed

Since upgrading my unlocked 3GS to iOS 6 my carrier name has changed. On the home screen in top left corner it used to say Orange but now after iOS 6 update it says EE. Anybody know why?
In settings my carrier says Orange. It's strange. Any help appreciated.

EE= everything everywhere...It's Oranges slogan...I don't know why it's appearing instead but maybe they are changing over as they adopt LTE?

Yes this correct. They going to rebrand their stores to EE (Everyone Everywhere) and eventually the EE will appear on the status bar only.
