Hi guys,

I got an update in iTunes saying that there are new carrier settings you need to update for my non-jailbroken iphone. So I did.

But since then, I cannot get VOIP incoming calls to my iphone ... is there anyway to revert back to the old version?

w/o the loss of my information like contacts 'n apps

thanks,
Avi

What country are you in?

If it is the USA, then the carrier update only add two imaged for the AT&T M-Cell product. It contained not other changes.

Check your version and baseband levels and see if you picked up something in addition to the "Carrier Update".

Here is the thread with the most complete discussion: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/647501/ of the 8-10 other duplicate threads...

i'm in the US, I'm not sure how the other settings are changed if any. I will look in to the given links

this used to be a major problem in the first generation iPhones that used EDGE only ... while accessing information online, your iPhone wouldnt be able to receive calls from VOIP ... I'm not sure what the problem could be if you are running on 3G or your phone is access the net through wifi
