Apologies if this has been covered somewhere but i'm being offered a week old 11 Pro Max 256gb locked to EE for a steal.

Been googling around and searched on here but cant find a way of unlocking it - anyone have any idea?

TIA

Pete.

You can’t unlock it for 6 months from the date it was on contract. So the guy selling it shouldn’t be doing so...

One of my friend had a same model locked on EE, on his behalf I asked a support section of theofficialunlocks.com and they claimed they can do it 100% in 10 days but the price was so expensive so didn't go for it. As far a credibility concern I'd been using and placed many orders with them and they never disappointed.

EE are a nightmare to unlock phones when the buyer isn’t a customer. I brought one before off a mate for the life of me I couldn’t get them to unlock it!
Ended up being I was told an EE sim had to stay in the phone for 6 months with a top up every month before they would even consider it.
I got a refund, it wasn’t worth the hassle.

Yes, EE less than 6 months are damn expensive to unlock, but after completion of six months they approve it on submitting a simple request.
