I hope this is the right place to post but I need some help. I live in Northeast Iowa, Hawkeye, Iowa to be exact. Was for years with US Cellular until the whole merger with T-Mobile. My phone switched on Friday to T-mobile. Data got really slow and barely useable. I should have just went to a T-Mobile store to make them fix it, but spent over 3 hours on the phone with customer support trying to get my phone fixed as they just merged it that day to T-Mobile. Got fed up with not getting any help, so went to a Verizon store and brought my own device and switched. Now my battery has completely tanked. Used to get thru a day and then some on a 16 Pro, now won’t even make it until 6:00 pm on full charge. 92% battery health. I feel stupid that I didn’t try more with T-Mobile and am thinking that maybe the Verizon towers are farther away from my location and that is eating up my battery. Any suggestions? I already reset network settings yesterday. Thanks all.

Only suggestions I can make are to use WiFi and WiFi calling. I hate those suggestions because I pay for cellular service and not for my carrier to use WiFi. But, if you're going to stay with Verizon, that's about all you can do.
It doesn't really matter what carrier you're with, none of them are going to go out of their way to 'fix' a macro tower just to make a single customer happy. And if the problem is with your device, then they'd either tell you to make a claim on your insurance or send you to the manufacturer.
Anyway, if you want to go back, you can probably do that. My understanding is that previous accounts are held for a short while. In this instance, I'd probably try and talk with T-Force. They are on Facebook, Instagram and X and they have more authority than reps in-store, on chat or through phone calls.
PS. I'm a 10.5 year T-Mobile customer.
