Case Logic makes a keychain holder for USB thumb drives that works pretty well for holding earbuds.

Personally, I use a small pouch that came with a compact flash card (from Sandisk) and wrap my earphones into a loop around my fingers, the tuck them into the case.

I have that- it works perfect, even with the iPhone earbuds.
I have the black one. Protects the earbuds well.

The case is about the size of a couple zippo lighters placed side by side. It has a nice key ring on it, so you could attach it to a keychain.

i'm liking the budcase... but the website shows 2 different versions of it? one opens like a clamshell and the other just looks like a simple pouch. which one are they selling exactly? haha
