After owning a few Vaja cases I'm seriously surprised at the quality of these for the price. And a little mad, LOL. Vaja makes you wait forever for them too.

Seriously my only problem is picking a color. I love the black/yellow, red/white, and blue/white. I don't know which one to order. :(

I know how you feel. I want a second one, but cannot decide on a color. :)

The more I use this case on a daily basis, the more I like it.

I just got mine (orange/black) and it's pretty good. Not as bulky as I expected.

On the negative side, the case does interfere with the flash. I get a white bloom effect on the left side of all photos using flash. I'm also not thrilled that while the back panel has felt-type lining on the interior, the edges do not, they are bare plastic. The phone + case WILL fit in the universal dock, but you have to take the insert out.

Smells like leather

I got my black/orange one 3 days ago.
First flip case i've owned and not too bad at all.
Thought id hate the flap hanging there. I just fold it back.
This feels so luxurious compared to bumper.

The leather is soft and stitching well done.
Love the contrast stitching.
Anyone who thinks it's halloweenish move on.
I got more compliments on this case than I did when I had the iPhone 4 naked. I'm ordering a second in another color.

The phone fits inside snug.I use the charging cable with flap open.
Would be nice if you could charge it closed. The case provides much better protection than bumper.

Glad to hear this. Ordered a white/red last week. How long did it take to receive your order?

Ordered on the 13th and it arrived on the 20th.

From Hong Kong that was fast !

Ill say this... quality. For $32 shipped I feel this was a great deal. Well made and the fit & finish is perfect, on mine at least. Nice solid black and the orange is a darker orange. Not a bright flashy orange.
The hole for the flash does NOT block it. I took a bunch of flash pics and they were not affected. My cheap clear plastic case I have had on it does distort the flash so i do know what to look for.

The top cover is soft and you can tell it has a thin layer of padding under it to give it a nice feel. The back and side are a leather wrapped hard plastic. Definatly gives great protection all around. It has a soft felt on the inside top cover and bottom with hard plastic exposed on the sides inside. I would say this is to help keep it in place. Well protected with no achilles heal. Any drop it will be protected.

I like it... and i like it much more then I thought i would.

PS.. yea it smells like leather ;)

Nice case. Love some of those colors. How is the flap secured? Pressure? Does the case have raised edges? Or is it pretty flush with the sides of the device?

Just got mine. Black with the white stitching. I am very please with the fit and finish.Someone asked earlier if the sides were flush with the front of the phone - I'd say they stick up 1/32".

Someone mentioned earlier about the flash interference issue. I AM having problems with mine. So I'll probably take a wood carving tool and open things up a bit.

On a side note, I was disappointed to notice this afternoon that the face of my phone is scratched from not having the screen protected by a 'proper' case. :(

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A293 Safari/6531.22.7)

Well I suppose it doesn't really matter if it's leather or PU, though PU often describes the smell as well. One way to know for sure if it's leather would be to heat up a needle over a flame and poke the case somewhere inconspicuous. Leather doesn't melt.

Any comments on the latch? Does close nicely? I worry that these types of pressure fit latches will either loosen over time, or scratch the spot they rub against if they're too tight.

If it doesn't smell like leather it isn't leather. Just checked a "leather" case from a company which says that it's a leather case but it's smells like a plastic. So I just tried the needle thing and it melted like butter (plastic)

Well if it is plastic (and I'm thinking it is; although the screen cover piece COULD be leather), it will be easier to open up the back a little to accommodate the flash.

It's a damn nice case, even if it isn't leather - and we'll see how it holds up in the long run...

Mine took thirteen days from the day I ordered it (I'm in central TX). It shipped the day after I ordered it.

Did anyone order the black yellow one? I can't decide between the black yellow and black orange. I wish someone would post up some pictures on the black yellow :p

no problems!

Ordered an orange Carrymobile Jacka Case on 11-26-2010. It left Hong Kong 12-07, and arrived 12-16.

A very nice case for the money; fit and finish is comparable to a Piel Frama, Vaja, or Sena (I've owned all three). I haven't noticed issues reported on this thread regarding taking flash pictures. I don't like the Piel Frama because the upper-left corner of their iMagnum case has been removed. Apparently they couldn't figure out how to engineer an opening that wouldn't interfere with the camera. The Chinese are quite good at making luxury PDA cases for a low price point.

I will mention that shipments from Hong Kong can take three or more weeks to arrive but your patience will be rewarded :)

Well mine broke yesterday. The left upper corner of the case (which is plastic inside) broke off.

Think I'm going to get a speck candyshell next.

Strange

I have an iPhone 4 in one of these cases. I've dropped it twice on concrete and had someone accidentally drop it on a wood floor. No damage; not even a scratch on the case or phone.

On the other hand, I had an Otterbox, which is supposed to be the gold standard in protection, split open on impact, from two feet onto a carpeted surface. You never know.
