Hi guys, I am going to be buying the Toshiba NB205 netbook from Amazon, the cheap black model. I will bring it to school with me and I was wondering if I needed a sleeve if I want to put it in my Backpack or should I not worry about a sleeve and just throw it in with my books?

The reason I ask this is because I am unsure of what sleeve to buy with the Toshiba's 6-cell battery that sticks out.

I have the toshiba in white.

I use a Skooba Skin Micro. It is a wee bit wide, but thickness-wise the toshiba fits in it perfectly. The case is stiff and well padded. It's also checkpoint friendly.

Alternately, portable dvd player cases might work if you need something smaller.

The 6-cell netbook is a PIA in terms of finding cases - I've got a dell mini with the same issue. I've dealt with sfbags.com a number of times (I love their sleeves and have had them for countless mac products) and emailed them about the mini - they were able to point me to one of their products that fits like a glove.
