Are you talking about a click that comes from the iPad itself, like the speaker? Did you check and make sure that you have your sound enabled/not muted, because I can’t imagine the case making a noise to indicate that the iPad turned on when you opened the cover. I have the case for my iPad Pro 2024 and it doesn’t make a noise, which seems perfectly normal.

Mine does, too.
I couldn’t quite place it but after using it for a couple of hours my left (hold & scroll) hand smelled like garlic. Like after you mince fresh garlic, that residual smell. I don’t know what to say about this.

I noticed a smell on mine too, but it's been a week and it's went away. Probably just something during the manufacturing process, or the factory was taking a working lunch that day 😂

I had been using the Magic Keyboard since I got the iPad, and then recently ordered the Zugu case. The Zugu has been on my iPad ever since. I guess that's probably because I don't really NEED a keyboard case. I got the iPad to use it as a tablet, so the Zugu has been great. I love the full protection and versatility that I wish the MK provided.
Mine arrives tomorrow! It will be interesting to see how it holds up as I do find the need to use my Apple Magic Keyboard a few times a week. So I do have to extract the iPad M4 Pro 13” from this Zugu case.

Update! Just got it delivered and have used it a couple of hours. It does feel lighter than the one I had for my M1 12.9” iPad Pro. Maybe that is my imagination?
It is easy to insert and pull my M4 out of the Zugu case. I think it will stand the stress on the frame as long as I don’t go overboard inserting and extracting the iPad Pro use with my Apple Magic Keyboard. I wish Zulu would make an Apple Magic compatible case!🙂↔️

Yes it be same for me too! I am impressed with it and I don’t need bring my portable stand anymore cos most case don’t have all levels I need and this one does! First one I ever seen and also I love magnet hold in place. I never able have case stand up my lap before cos always too fragile, this case it stay in place and so strong.
