Waiting to receive my new iPP.... In the meantime I'm trying to find a folio for it without breaking the bank.

The Apple Folio (which attaches to the back via a magnet) is £100 and I would want something that actually hugs the device anyway rather than just attaching via magnets.

This JETech case is almost perfect...except with it on there would be no way to charge the pencil, as even though they have left a gap the pencil wouldn't be able to fit. I'm hoping to spot a design that incorporates space for the pencil to charge on the side by leaving a gap (just like so many cases from the previous few years had for the smart connector. Anyway, here's a link to the case. I imagine/hope many more will be added to Amazon over the next few days/week, but at the moment the two I've found by ESR and JETech both have this issue as described above.

JETech: https://www.amazon.co.uk/JETech-12-...=8-11-spons&keywords=ipad+pro+2018+case&psc=1

ESR: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ESR-Releas...4-spons&keywords=ipad+pro+2018+case+ESR&psc=1

Let me know your thoughts. It seems that for the time being I will have to buy just a sleeve for protection.

When the iPad 10.5 came out I was disappointed that they did not off a full case/portfolio. I tried all the third party cases and they sucked.

Thrilled that Apple is offering a full case/portfolio for the new 11". Both iPad and case ordered!

Just so expensive though! Hoping third party cases will start coming on sale.

These cases were just gambles based on prerelease info - the same happened with the 10.5. Expect these to quickly get updated to a better design now the final iPad design is known - presumably with the majority of the right side exposed for Pencil charging.

I think they saw that port and assumed it was only important to keep it exposed. Now they know the whole length of the pencil needs to be exposed, hopefully they will design a snap case that does that and I’ll buy it straight away!
