Hi folks,
I'm looking for a case recommendation - we're planning on picking up either a retina Mini or a refurb Mini in a few weeks to ease long holiday road trips with a toddler. I'm really after a dual-purpose case, which is the tricky part; I'd like something that can hold up to the rigors of toddler touches and includes an integrated screen protector, but relatively easy to remove when the grownups are ready to play (I much prefer to use my devices sans case and really don't like screen protectors that adhere to the display).

The Otterbox Defender is almost right, except it's nearly impossible to take off - I have tried several times and always thought I was about to either break the case or send the ipad flying. The Survivor looks similar, and I've heard that the port covers are easily torn off. My dream option would be something like the Otterbox with a flap on one end to slide the iPad in and out. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

The Nuud doesn't have a screen protector. It seals around the bezel to protect the iPad.

Thanks, but I do want a screen protector, just not one that's attached - I'm not comfortable with a glass screen near my kiddo's face during car rides. Lifeproof does make nice looking stuff though!
