This is your best choice (I spent hours looking for sleeves) at the sub-$50 level. Above that, Etsy has some good options. I can't stand the fake leather on that sleeve, so I ended up just getting a non-Pencil sleeve and I'll keep the Pencil in my pocket or bag.

I suspect that's going to be a bit big for a 9.7" iPad Pro.

I have the Peralta Scarlett sleeve from SF Bags for mine. It has a slot on the outside for the pencil although I don't use it as I have their leather iPad accessories cases which I use for that as well as various other cables and a charger.

Similar to the Peralta that Mr.C mentioned above, I have the Waterfield iPad Sleeve Case for my 9.7 iPad Pro. It fits the iPad with the Apple keyboard cover, and it has a slot for the pencil under the flap.

It is a bit big for my 9.7 iPP...but I also carry a Twelve South Compass and my Pencil in a wooden case with it...so it all fits nicely.
