There's always the reception question. Looks could be unbelievable. Poor reception ruins it for me.

Wow - Ok - Well I have NO problem paying a little extra to help our economy. You must not be from the USA.

lol. You think buying an aluminum bumper is going to help our economy? Maybe it's that type of thinking that leads to our economic woes.

And ostracizing someone for not buying American? That's pathetic.

The bumper is awesome though. I am interested in how protective the TPU lining is.

Also interested in it's signal degradation. It looks to be solid aluminum, so I doubt it is any good. They also make no mention about it on their website, so I'm guessing there's nothing positive to advertise.

The price is fine. 2-3 x cheaper than the sector 5, and only 2x as much as a cheap TPU case.

Nice try. I'd rather buy something made here in the US and not manufactured in another country, if I can help it.

I was simply refereing to your comment about being "another bumper" and this is not a Chinese knockoff and was made here. All the points you just mentioned, are exactly why I like the case. No harm, no foul. Just not sure why you had to post "just another bumper".....

I didn't make that comment. I think you are confused, about many things.

Whatever makes you feel better, but don't be a jerk and tout that like it is something to brag about, and then call someone else's nationality into question simply because they aren't impressed by it.

And no, your purchase isn't going to help our economy. It helps small-minded people feel better about themselves.

I apologize, it was not you that made that comment. I am not going to debate whether or not it helps, but I will say I'd rather buy AMERICAN when possible. My comments towards you where not meant with disrespect. Comments got out of hand and I am part to blame. I was simply indicating, based on threads where people where buying RIP OFFS of cases that I think were made here, from China. So when someone said "just another aluminium case" - I was simply replying that it was made here in the US, and not a knock/rip -off made in china and support American Made - that is all.

Again no disrespect and I apologize if I offended anyone.

I'm baffled by the popularity of these types of "cases". They're no more a case than a pair of aluminum sleeves is a suit of armor. Not to mention they ruin the clean lines of the phone. It's like sticking a beautiful girl into a Transformers costume, permanently. And for $50, if you drop it, you get a nice big ding in it. Then if you buy another one, you're up to $100, the cost of Apple Care +.

The same argument could be made on why you would spend so much buying an iPhone (or any other expensive smartphone), or agree to a 2 year contract just to own it. Just as silly.

Your argument could apply to other types of cases, yet millions of people use cases for their iPhones. What makes aluminum cases any different? Or do you post this in every case thread?
