I fully agree about the nationalism that USAUSA sometimes devolves to. Is all 'Made in China' stuff terrible? Nope. I do get a bit annoyed when I see knockoffs of things here, and what seems to be thread after thread of people 'rewarding' the knockoff manufacturers, even though none of them are knockoffs of my stuff. Maybe I jump on it a bit, but I do like reminding people that the original products they buy are the result of R&D, prototyping, and blood sweat and tears. :)

As far as commenting, truly I should shut up, and attend to the many things I have on my plate :) I was a member of this and many other forums before Twig, and love to post. Rules of the road require I have a vendor tag over there, so there it be. You're right, pragmatically. Realistically, I'm certain I will annoy and aggravate just by existing. Twig is made up of musicians. We're used to it. :)

As to the economy - we're having our small effect, which I'm happy with. We're hiring again :)

I appreciate your response, and I will now close my pie-hole.

Minnesota you say? Are your products sold at any local vendors?

(Sorry to derail but it's not every day you see iPhone accessories coming out of my state!)

Lol agree completely. I love when people like larry greenberg (case reviewer) says things like 'i love that this case was made in the USA' when in fact 95 % of the things he owns or clothes he wear are made in china or india. Guys, guess where Apple parts are produced lol...

And to the other guy, yea i noticed it atomiccase changin their company name. Probaly to get new customers as their old brand name kinda went stale.

lol. You think buying an aluminum bumper is going to help our economy? Maybe it's that type of thinking that leads to our economic woes.

And ostracizing someone for not buying American? That's pathetic.

The bumper is awesome though. I am interested in how protective the TPU lining is.

Also interested in it's signal degradation. It looks to be solid aluminum, so I doubt it is any good. They also make no mention about it on their website, so I'm guessing there's nothing positive to advertise.

The price is fine. 2-3 x cheaper than the sector 5, and only 2x as much as a cheap TPU case.

Shipping Tomorrow

Has anyone had a change in order status from processed yet? I know I'm maybe jumping the gun a little bit. We'll probably see some action on this tread in the next week.

I ordered the day I started this thread. Should ship tomorrow. Once I get notification I will lyk.

yes, the pics are nice, but not a good price.

So far the pictures are for the most part renderings with lighting and finish designed to be very flattering. I'm looking forward to the real thing. It's very hard to tell whats going on, things like where the aluminum starts and stops, how thick is it, how glossy is the aluminum and the TPU. The more I look at the renderings the more unsure I feel about how I think the case will look. They appear rough to me, not precise. I'm referring to the Slimline.

Here I am being negative before it even comes out. My friends have commented on this aspect of my nature.

The price is fine for an aluminum case made in the US!
Gotta support the economy!

That's pretty funny. If you read posts #6 thru #20 something you would see you could start a fight by that statement. Of course maybe you intended the humor.

It's about 7:00 PM March 20 at the Florida facility of Casemachine. No word here or email from Casemachine about shipment of the Slimline 5 case. I made a very early order and expected some word on the 20th as promised for more than a month.

Puppers, I ordered two days after you did. Did you hear from them about shipping?

No word either. I have emailed them (came back undeliverable) and posted to their Facebook and no response. When I hear something I will post here.

You end that with a Smily face?

From their Facebook:

Were working diligently to get the orders out. Your order is confirmed. We are having some issues with the cart -email, however can email tracking manually once shipped. Theres several thousand orders and about 10 people working around the clock shipping first come first serve. THe USPS post office cut off is 4pm so no matter what we complete post 3:00, it wont go out till the following day.

Your status will change to "Complete." Sorry for any delays or inconvenience. If there is anything we can do let us know. However we ask that you be patient for a quality product.

Sincerely,

Cam

Thanks puppers, maybe tomorrow.

The funny part is I like the lower price case for one simple reason, the vol. up/down and mute buttons are protected vs the other versions are exposed. Too bad they didn't incorporate those features. I hate getting my phone scratched up but its a nice case.

Well, looks like at least two days late. Case companies should base their promises on the worst case scenario then add two weeks. Anticipation at the promised date goes way up and, if missed, upset rises with it. The date in large colored letters says ship date not begins to ship. These companies don't seem to get deadlines.

I could not agree more. They did say something I think that meant their tracking email was down. So it could of shipped and we just don't know.
