Cases for the iPhone 6s on launch day?

We're almost there guys! So here's my debacle... I'm going to pre order the 6s whenever pre-orders go up but my problem is will they have cases available on the apple store that day? Or will I have to go to the apple store on launch to get one. All I want is a good clear case.

Spigen on amazon site are doing cheap cases here uk for 6s. Ive ordered a few armor ones and clear ones.

Most likely apple will sell official cases if the current ones are smaller.

I was in the Regent Street, London store today and they had tons of apple cases, most marked 6s or 6s+.

I don't think you are going to have a problem.

Yeah, cases (and the new docks, if you care) are already available at the Apple stores....at least, most of the stores

I was in Apple Store yesterday asking about Apple cases for the 6s plus coming 9/25. The manager told me they were updated by Apple rep that Apple cases and Tech21 cases from 6 and 6 plus will fit the 6s and 6s plus. Other cases would not. I was going to buy new Apple leather case marked for the 6s plus and he advised me my current Apple leather case on my current 6 plus will fit new phone.

Take it for what you will. I was impressed he didn't try to sell me case I was ready to buy.

Speck also updated their site. All Speck cases for the iPhone 6 and 6+ will fit the 6S and 6S+! Actually picked one up today so I'm all ready come Friday.

Yes if you think .0078 in is SIGNIFICANTLY thicker then yes. But remember that's about as thick as 2 pieces of paper

I dunno. I am an aerospace machinist. In my world .0078 is HUGE! I sometimes have to hold +/- .0005 on a diameter callout.

Just an FYI they aren't available until October, and they are currently cheaper on the Caseology site then Amazon, some pretty snazzy ones too, like the Maze Runner Edition Savoy.

I dunno. I am an aerospace machinist. In my world .0078 is HUGE! I sometimes have to hold +/- .0005 on a diameter callout.

Thickness isn't the biggest issue in my opinion. Height and width overall are also increasing. On a tight fitting case, adding 0.1 - 0.2 mm will make a difference.

I'm putting a decal on the back and the case I chose was a clear one from ringke fusion. But knowing me I'm going to buy tons more down the line

Unless the wrong case choice leads them to drop the phone, spill spaghetti sauce, all while stumbling and stepping on a cat's tail. In that case perhaps debacle would be appropriate... ;-)

Rearth just confirmed me that Slim cases for the 6 will work on the 6S, whereas the Fusion will not.
I think I may grab a Crystal Slim for my new 6S+!!
