Upstate NY . Was FL.
Would anyone know what cases have soft cut out around the ports? So far the Apple silicon case and Spigen thin fit case play nice with the old pinky finger. Cheers.

Check out Smartish cases.
Funny. I’ve been eyeing of those for a while but read one review which I don’t whether to be true or not that there regular non MagSafe case that retails for 14.99 on Amazon to be loose fitting. Is the plastic hard or soft on the inside ? Cheers.

The Totallee Clear (Soft) passes the pinky test. What I've noticed is that the cases that pass the pinky test for me are either a soft material (like, silicone) or the case can't have too big of an opening for the lightning cable. The wider the hole, the sharper the edges are. A wide opening creates a thin surface that acts like those orange plastic blades on my pinky finger. The case also can't be too heavy because then it will add extra weight on the pinky, pushing the "blade" into my pinky. Another case I suggest is the Apple leather case. It might be sharp at first, but as you use it, the leather will wear out and the material around the opening for the lightning cable will get softer.

Indeed. That’s a good point raised there cheers. However , the spigen thin fit has a somewhat large opening but the edges seem to be tapered or beveled a bit thus minimizing sharp edges. Take a looksy.

This is actually my current case. I was hesitant to buy it because the one for the 12 Pro Max hurt my pinky. This year's feels much better. I keep telling myself it's my case until I find something better, but I haven't found one that's better yet.

I’m currently using just two cases. Apple silicon in abysmal blue 🤣 and the Spigen thin fit.
