I would say if you had a 2007 or below macbook pro go ahead and just pay about 500$ more for a new one. But if it is recently made, get it replaced.
 
The cat needs some intervention. You need to sit it down and give a heavy dose of advise on handling expensive electronics. :eek:
 
My cat was a chewer too. ruined a lot of my speaker cables and phone chargers.

I had a friend over and she chewed through his macbook pro charger. damn those things are esssppeennnssive!

I ended up having to get rid of her when i moved :(
at least my macbooks are safe now :O

So, everyone comes in and asks for pictures of the cat. I want to see pictures of the broken screen, or is that too cruel?
